The season of 2007-2008 has been a great season for Poole RFC. We have seen loads of new players join the club and the social atmosphere has been at its best for long time. Various events have taken place throughout the year including greyhound racing, paintball, a fancy dress night out and various other activities. This is on top of our tour to France in June.
We are currently running 1 team who play almost every week, either in league, cup or friendly matches. The amount of matches we play means everyone gets to play regularly and the way the league works means that we can make as many substitutions as required; for those players that 30mins is enough!
The club is about enjoyment and we always welcome new members, whether new to the game, the Poole area or returning to the game after some time off.
Throughout the season we train every Wednesday 7pm evening at Turlin Moor Recreation ground and during the summer we have pre-season fitness training.
