The season of 2008-2009 has been a great season for Poole RFC. We have seen loads of new players join the club and the social atmosphere has been at its best for long time. Various social events took place throughout the year, culminating in the annual game against the French team Barentin. Poole RFC are looking forward to 2010 with great anticipation that this could be our year for promotion.
We are currently running 1 team who play almost every week, either in league, cup or friendly matches. The amount of matches we play means everyone gets to play regularly and the way the league works means that we can make as many substitutions as required; for those players that 30mins is enough! We are growing in numbers and are looking to put out a 2nd team this year, so even if you can not commit to regular training and playing maybe you fancy getting the boots on a couple of times a year?
The club is about enjoyment and we always welcome new members, whether new to the game, the Poole area or returning to the game after some time off.
We have started our pre season training at Turlin Moor Recreation Ground.
7-8pm Mondays - fitness
7-9pm Wednesay - normal training
